Calling this one “Prayer” for my first LØNE skate deck custom art. 1 of 1 will be available when I showcase in the future. The antagonist is lurking around every corner but prayer keeps him shrinking away to his slimy little corner. Our battles are not against other people but against invisible things that cause all kinds of nasty things to happen between each other.

Part 2 my son and I take the board out to get proper grip tape, bearings, and wheels put on. I’ve been impressed with his progression within weeks on it. He has been riding pennys since he could crawl though and up until my deck has been riding garage sale decks. I’ve been working on this skate deck art on and off most of last year while waiting for the funds to come in from the last skate deck sales. You can imagine my delight when I see it for the first time from the manufacturer. It’s such a long process but all worth it when it finally arrives. Before I even moved on from sketching I had the idea that this would be my son’s first official skate board (not from a garage sale). In the next video you’ll see him putting it together. My family and I took our yearly sabbatical to see

My family and I took our yearly sabbatical to see and experience beauty, art, history and new environments. We got to do a lot of what we love. Seeing old friends and playing board games, mountain biking and skateboarding. Came back with fresh ideas to finish off the second year of the art project. Life can be “SNES Hard” cart. Fully functional. Hand painted using acrylic paint, brushes, and Posca’s. The cart, and label, was from some weird throw away game called Hagane or something like that, idk. Hehe, this was a fun one to make and looks good on my shelf.

Life can be harder then one hit deaths with zero continues and no password save. Know that you do not have to do life by yourself. Reach out and find those individuals around you willing to pour life into you. Jesus, prayer and certain people can mean the difference between a day full of abundance in an otherwise trialing time. Hang in there!

Man what a trip! For years I’ve wanted to attend

Man what a trip! For years I’ve wanted to attend this conference but I gotta be honest, I’m very overwhelmed with the shear number of people that are on site at Adobe MAX.
I’m finding my way through the crowds and doing the best I know to connect with some of the creatives that are here. I can definetly see my introvert self though holding me back or making some encounters awkward but I muscle through it because there is a wealth of knowledge here to tap into.

I can’t believe I got to meet one of my favorite artist Gawx who is coming all the way from Mexico. That was such a pleasant surprise. I mean meeting Gawx was enough but then Angel Acevedo and his wife from @godisadesigner.co, Annie Adkins who’s done graphic design work on Wes Anderson films, DKNG (ketchup packet guys), Chris Do, and connecting with Michael Fugoso again just made this LA trip all the more incredible.
I learned so much being here and will need at least a month to work though all the creative insight I received for my career as an artist and designer. Just so grateful honestly.

There is something very important about us as creatives that you should all know. It’s not enough to just share our work, we really do need to interact with each other and engage in relationships while investing in our development by learning from those in a different point in their careers. We really aren’t aløne, there is a community of us creatives just waiting to support and lift each other up through the process of our creative endeavors.
I have one more day and I intend to make the most of it regardless of my fight with my inner introvert. You people intimidate me, but I love you all.
